So safari has slowly but surely been gaining ground with me with it’s new version 4. It still doesn’t have a lot of the neat features I want as a web developer. But the most essential feature is that I have a secure way to get to my client’s sites without having to remember a billion passwords, and be inaccessible to a thief who steals my laptop.

This is pretty damned awesome. Works across all browsers too. i.e save your password once and any browser can access it. It also fills in forms as well. It also has a ‘wallet’ feature to store other secure information. I had a different password manager for that but I think I’ll just use this thing for everything now. Pretty much something I would want whether I was using Safari or not. But I think with this, I can finally make Safari my default browser. Hooray!

But what about bookmark keywords?! Those precious, personal, tinyurl’s – synonyms for all that is grand and worthwhile!

I agree. Keywords are awesome. But I think I’ll take the hit for the faster performance. I just have to get used to not typing in crap like ‘db’ and ‘lweb’ and ‘ladmin’ and all kinds of other crap I had up there as keywords. RIP.
