Question: I haven’t been able to enable Google Gears in my Firefox browser since several updates ago. If I enable Gears, I am unable to load Gmail properly, ending up with a blank screen. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve tried disabling all of my other add-ons, but thus far haven’t been able to pinpoint a specific conflict outside of Gears itself. I’m sure that Google wouldn’t release a version of Gears that conflicts with it’s own GMail, and I’m sure that many/most/all of you out there are able to use GMail+Gears+Firefox. So, it must be something with my setup. It’s not a huge deal for me, and I can manage pretty well without the Gears features, but still… I wonder. Any thoughts?
I just had an online argument with a right wingnut guy who was citing Obama’s “lack of balls” for not resigning his senate seat to run for president. [The way Sarah Palin has, I guess?] I simply asked if he meant like McCain had resigned in his multiple runs? [‘Cuz, see… he DIDN’T!] He somehow took offense at that, and told me I seem confused. Then he called me a scmuck. I replied that schmuck is spelled with an “h”… he didn’t like that either! Go figure. |
